As good as he is in the ring, Kyle O'Reilly needs a ton of work on the mic. He comes across as stiff and over-rehearsed. He seems like he's acting. Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards aren't particularly charismatic on the mic, but they don't seem like they're acting.
On that note, is there a heel-turn in this Richards/Edwards/O'Reilly/Cole angle? I think O'Reilly could get over as a heel more easily than a face. I could see him as a Roderick Strong type, and maybe turning on Davey at a pivotal moment after some slow-burning tension. I think Adam Cole could fill the void for a mid-card face (to feud with Ciampa for the TV title, should he win it), and maybe this puts him over. However it happens, I'm excited to see it!
Good podcast, guys!
